New Community Wellbeing Hub Opens in Acomb Garth

We’re pleased to share that a new Yor Community Wellbeing Hub has opened in Acomb Garth, offering accessible, local support for adults aged 18+ who are experiencing mental health or wellbeing challenges.

What is the Yor Community Wellbeing Hub?

This new hub is part of the Connecting Our City programme, bringing together services from the NHS, City of York Council, and voluntary sector partners. It’s designed to provide a safe, welcoming space where people can drop in for support, advice, or simply a listening ear.

Services Offered:

  • Mental health and wellbeing support
  • Signposting to local services
  • Help with social issues like housing, finances, and loneliness
  • A calm, friendly environment to talk and be heard

Opening Hours:

  • Monday–Tuesday: 9am–5pm
  • Wednesday–Saturday: 8am–8pm
